Hi Marina,
It's so good to hear from you. I lost your email address and phone number shortly after I got off the bus. As it turns out, writing down important info onto a burger wrapper with ketchup does not work well. I hope you made it all the way to Tulsa. I was pretty sad to leave you on the bus, but I had only bought a ticket to Memphis and I needed to say hi to my duck friend at the Peabody Hotel. When I got there, he pretended like he didn't know me. I'm pretty sure it was him, but the ducks all look alike to me. His name is Willard (I think). I have attached a photo of him and his friends.
Thank you for sending a picture of yourself. It's been a long time and the bus had tinted windows so I couldn't see you really well. Looks like your hair has gotten very long and straight. You are very pretty in that picture. I want to say sorry again for getting motion sick on the bus and throwing up on you. I don't remember you waking up between when that happened and my stop, but I tried to gently soak it up with some of your clothes from that big bag you put overhead. Your sweater seemed to work the best. It was pretty chunky and I'm guessing that if you let it dry, you could just shake it out real good and it would be fine. Did you shake it out?
I hope everything is good for you. Did you say you are in Russia now? I think that is far away. How did you get there? Write back soon. I really miss watching you sleep.
-Stan
